MEET THE FETCH THE LEASH FAMILY!!!!
All care givers are carefully selected by Maria or Brandon who personally goes to each home with a training sitter. We go over EVERYTHING that you went over with us during the initial consultation and any updates since then. After an application and interview process of a potential sitter, they are required to submit a criminal history report and several references prior to training. All sitters must be at least 21 years old...and of course LOVE pets!!!! The training doesn't stop there. On-going training continues regularly with monthly meetings and lots of communication in between. All our care givers follow the Fetch The Leash motto: treat and care for each and every pet, as if they were your own, in a caring and responsible way.

MARIA
Founder and owner, Maria, couldn't have envisioned Fetch The Leash without her 4-legged best friend, Eli, who often came to work to earn his keep. Eli passed away in December of 2010, so Jada is our new helper. She loves her job. Maria was accepted to Georgia State University to obtain a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, so she will only be able to see your pets every once in awhile these days. She is adult and pet CPR certified and helped put on the first annual "Pedal for Paws" bike ride to help raise money for shelter dogs. If there is anytime away from studying and clinicals, Maria enjoys riding bikes and hiking with Jada.

JEFF
Meet Jeff, Maria's husband, who has also been here since the beginning. Jeff has the special gift of easily earning a dog's trust, even the most shy ones. Maybe they sense his love of creatures of all kinds...even bugs! Jeff has a Masters degree from UGA in Entomology. Due to his busy field studies, your pups won't see Jeff too often, but when they do it's a true treat! Jeff also loves to ride his bikes, brew some homemade beer, and hike with our dog Jada.

BRANDON
Meet Brandon and his Jack Russel mix, Lily. Brandon also has twin lab mixes Athena and Leonidas. Brandon is a full-time sitter so your pups will have fun playing with him. He has been with Fetch The Leash since January of 2008. Brandon is a recent graduate from the University of Georgia with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. His mom was a dog trainer so he knows his way around a pooch. He also grew up with almost every pet you can imagine. Brandon is responsible for all scheduling, initial consultations, and LOTS of walking :)
