Fetch The Leash has been caring for many pets in Athens since 2003. Founder and owner, Maria Clara Carrelli, also keeps herself busy as a personal trainer (...for humans) and racing her mountain bike. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in business management.
Little did I know that when I started Fetch The Leash it would become what it is today. I started the business shortly after moving to Athens in order to have a flexible schedule and still be able to train to race my bike...next thing I know I have 3 additional care givers and seasonal helpers working to help me...and we can't forget my partner and four-legged co-founder, ELI, an integral part of the business!
Our motto has always been to treat each and every pet as if they are our own. I make all my decisions - from daily walks to who I choose to work for Fetch the Leash - based on this motto. I have enjoyed ALL the personalities (human and pet) that I have been privileged to meet throughout the years. I look forward to the more I will encounter.
